Accessibility

Diagram: the four principles of web accessibility

We want labweb.mx to be usable by as many people as possible, regardless of their abilities or assistive technology. Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.

Conformance status

We declare partial conformance with WCAG 2.2 AA: some content is still being verified.

Our automated audits (axe-core and Lighthouse) report no accessibility violations, covering the WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 AA success criteria.

What we have implemented

Semantic HTML with a clear heading hierarchy, full keyboard navigation with visible focus, a skip-to-content link, associated labels and error messages on forms, alternative text on images, and verified color contrast.

Known limitations

Some animations are purely decorative, notably the 3D logo on the home page and the typewriter effect in the header, and currently play even when your system signals a reduced-motion preference (prefers-reduced-motion). The site's content and functionality do not depend on them, and we are evaluating offering a reduced-motion version.

What we are still verifying

We are completing manual testing with keyboard and screen readers, and verifying the new criteria introduced in WCAG 2.2 (such as focus appearance, target size, and dragging movements).

How we measure it

We assess accessibility continuously with automated tools (axe-core and Lighthouse) against the production version of the site.
